
Jazmine Jazmine, who is Philadelphia native was raised and born there. Pam her mother is a former back-up singer of Philadelphia International Records. When she was five, her father was appointed as the curator of the Strawberry Mansion Section. Her family eventually moved into this iconic house. The year 2005 marks her Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts student She is an instructor in the field of vocal music. Sullivan began singing in the children's choir as a contralto before joining the adult choir just a couple of years later. Sullivan wasn't exposed to the world of secular music for the first time. "I started singing as a soloist in churches, and one of my friends asked me to commit for a gospel recording at the age of 11. but I wasn't quite ready for the task," she says. "Then when McDonald's held a contest for students in big cities I was invited to perform 'Accept what God Wills' on Showtime at the Apollo and the audience were very supportive". At the age 13 she performed along to Stevie Wonder for his grandson's birthday. Sullivan was 15 when she began her career with Jive Records. She was signed to Jive Records at the age 15. She was the producer of an entire album but this album did not see release. Sullivan was then dismissed by the label. The singer maintained a relationship with Missy Elliott who wrote and recorded a number of the tracks from her debut, including the buzz single "Backstabbers" that was written and produced by Timbaland and composed by Elliott.
