Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her part as Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both scholars. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother at work and attending practice sessions for plays. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials while she was young. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. After that, she relocated into Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got married in December 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton with a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk had the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on the 13th of May, 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. Silk was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen on the television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale. She announced the news to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on the 20th of June, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for the Fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite television Couples. E! named the couple as the top Television Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its growing popularity on social networks has grown to a huge online following.
